FAQs

  • From 2020 to now the LeadLab training was sponsored by the General Conference. Now the cost may have to be born by the field requesting the service.

  • A professional certificate is issued to active participants who have completed the LeadLab Growth Series and its requirements. In addition, for those who want to go deeper, three graduate academic credits can be arranged by the participating Division or field through the School of Leadership at Andrews University for a nominal fee. These credits are transferrable into an academic certificate, a master’s or doctoral leadership programs at participating universities. To earn academic credit, participants must be actively involved in all LeadLab sessions, the weekly learning group, engage in an application project and write a reflective report.

  • The ultimate success of a LeadLab can be found in integrating new thinking, practice, and habits into everyday leadership practice.

  • Great question! There are several meaningful ways to stay connected and keep growing:

    • Support your field’s next LeadLab. Find out how your Division or field plans to expand LeadLab. You could help organize a new cohort, serve as an instructor, or become a learning coach.

    • Keep growing by helping others grow. Facilitating learning for others deepens your own experience and strengthens your leadership skills.

    • Explore LeadLab+ services. We’re building a global network of resource people to support new initiatives and specialized programs.

    • Join the resource hub. If you’d like to be part of this network, let us know how you might contribute.
